1. Is offshore investing legal?
Investing offshore is not illegal and probably never will be. At present most westernized countries do not have any laws or legislation forbidding the investment of money in other countries.
2. How much money do I need to start investing?
Currently, the minimum direct investment into a mutual fund is $10,300 USD
The minimum investment for a fund of funds type investment is $11,500 AUD
This can be split in up to 2 mutual funds with a minimum of $5,000 AUD per fund.
3. What type of people are Landau Securities clients?
Our clients come from may different walks of life. From mum and dad investors with little to no knowledge of global investing. To sophisticated investors and institutions.
4. What do I have to do to start investing?
Fill out our Landau Securities Questionnaire and if at all possible attend a Landau Securities Global Investing Workshop.
5. Do you set up offshore companies?
No but we can put you in touch with people that may be able to assist you.

What are the charges for your services?
As a general rule there is no out of pocket expense to you the investor apart from the
detailed full investment proposal, which is generally $300. However should you choose to attend one of our Global Investing Workshops, then there is no charge for the Full Investment Proposal
7. How do you make your money?
There is a sales fee or front-end load levied on the investments by the funds. From this
Landau Securities generally receives anywhere from 3-5%.

Could I just invest with the funds directly?
In some cases you may be able to go direct to the fund but they will still keep the 3-5%
for themselves. Other funds may refuse point blank to deal with you.

What kinds of ID do I need to provide?
You will always need to supply a Notarised copy of your passport (not certified).
If you are known to a staff member of Landau as in you have met face to face then a
photo copy of your passport is all that is necessary. In all other cases it is suggested
that a Notarized copy of your passport be obtained. Some Jurisdictions also require a
copy of a utility bill.
